#WWTcollection: Why I created my travel themed t-shirts for women

    2. Cuba-themed t-shirts
    3. Travel quote t-shirts
    4. Amsterdam t-shirt

My travel themed t-shirts for women are an attempt to keep the memories alive while reminding ourselves that a place is much more than a tourist spot. It is somebody’s home and a place that holds the stories of so many people for many centuries.

I do love to travel. I am one of those travellers that like to see behind the façade of a carefully-build tourism marketing and to see a destination in its true colours. With the bad and the good in it.

To create the t-shirts in the #WWTcollection I used photos I took in different parts of the world. In the prints, I tried to show the most special features of a place. For example – the tangerine-coloured landscapes of Morocco and the funny way the Japanese display food. I can only hope that my travel-themed t-shirts for women can make you smile and inspire you to bring more adventures in your daily lives.

The stories behind the t-shirt prints

Africa themed t-shirts

Africarepresents a collage of photos taken during my travels in Northern Africa. In this part of the African continent, the contrasts and abundance of colours and cultures are stunning. The grey-brown hues of Ethiopia that make the landscape dull but unique is the opposite of Morocco’s soft orange and red colours. The beautiful mosque on this t-shirt print is Hasan II in Casablanca.

The prints on several Africa travel themed t-shirts from the collection feature photos taken during my safari vacation in South Africa.

Cuba-themed t-shirts

Another country abundant with colours is Cuba. One of the amazing things about the Cuban people is their enormous amount of talents that we can assume is a result of their African, European and American cultural heritage. This t-shirt represents a collage of Cuban paintings. I wanted to share this passionate art with everyone who has not yet the chance to visit Cuba. Because Cuba is a dream, and Cuban art is just part of the dream.

Travel quote t-shirts

There are several travel quote t-shirts in my #WWTcollection. The photo on the “Wanderlust” is from Merzouga, Morocco’s the Sahara Desert. It is a place with a rare tranquil feel where the only disturbing presence is the constant gentle breeze that causes the sand to leaf on the ground like a light veil. One of the bestsellers, “All my dreams fir in a suitcase”, shows photo I took in the French Alps. Undoubtedly, “Passion changes everything”, in blackand white, is the universal gift for travellers and non-travellers alike.

Amsterdam t-shirt

Amsterdam is one of these European cities that make the continent what it is – a bubbling pot of cultures, lifestyles and pleasant destinations to travel. To explore the city is relatively easy because the best way to see Amsterdam is to walk or cycle around its famous canals.

Something that totally amazed me was how the city changes with the coming night. The bicycles still stand propped in front of the houses and families gather in their open-window living rooms without carrying about privacy and sharing with the world their domestic lives.

But the streets are different. Busy young people hurry to reach the Red District and all the tourists are gathering in the same indecently known part of the central Amsterdam. And yet, there is something clean and safe about wandering the streets of Amsterdam by night. And this is what I wanted to show with the print on my Amsterdam t-shirt.

The #WWTcollection travel themed t-shirts are an attempt to share inspiration and make people dream. Also to remind them to cherish every moment of their lives because the world is a beautiful place and every place is worth visiting.
